Electric cars are now available in all sizes and shapes – from SUVs, to the lower middle class. It’s no longer just a matter for the “rich”. Many electric cars have all the features you would expect from an ordinary car, such as seating for up to seven people, four-wheel drive, and more.
We’ve put together a list of 5 electric cars that we think are the best in the calendar year 2020.
The BMW i3 is a stylish compact electric car, it’s relaxing and powerful. Most importantly, more than his rivals, it combines incredible efficiency with quality and a great deal of individuality. BMW is designed to cover a greater distance, giving the 2019 i3 an estimated range of 200 miles (approximately 321 kilometers).
Standard version of i3 includes navigation, heated front seats, rear camera and Apple CarPlay.
Nissan LEAF received a new re-design in 2018. The previous standard 30-kWh of 2016 has become to a new 40-kWh battery. Nissan LEAF belongs to the new generation of electric cars, promising a range of over 300 km.
The LEAF S includes standard equipment such as automatic emergency brakes with pedestrian detection, automatic temperature adjustment and a 7-inch touch screen.
Tesla model S
The Tesla model S is larger than its predecessor model 3. It’s a great choice if you’re interested in Tesla, but want something more luxurious with all-wheel drive and a huge 17-inch touch screen in the center of the dashboard. The Tesla model S achieves an acceleration from 0 to 100 kilometers in an incredible 2.4 seconds.
It comes in versions with 75 kWh, but also a more powerful 100 kWh battery, while the more powerful version should range around 550 kilometers.
Chevrolet Bolt EV
The Chevrolet Bolt hatchback is a surprise in many ways. Before Niro and Kona came out , it was the first non-Tesla electric car to reach 250 miles or 402 kilometers. Bolt states that his carriage space is not overwhelming, but seems more useful than the figures say. Version 2019 Bolt EV LT has standard features such as keyless start, SiriusXM satellite radio and 10.2 inch touch screen with Apple CarPay and Android Car.
Ford Focus Electric
The Ford Focus Electric is a well-known type that has been with us since 1998. The new electric version appeared in 2015 and provides as comfortable a ride as its petrol counterpart. The new 2017 version of Ford Focus Electric has an estimated range of 115 miles, or approximately 185 kilometers. Ford Focus comes standard with remote climate control, a leather-covered steering wheel and an 8-inch touch screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Car.
